Using Interactive Forms

Interactive forms are fairly easy to use, but here are a couple of tips to make your life as a tutor easier.

1.  Learn the following shortcut commands:

    CTRL + A = Select All
    CTRL + C = Copy
    CTRL + V = Paste
Shift + the arrow keys will highlight text much more accurately than the mouse.

When tutoring online students always encourage them to use a word processor to complete their work, and then to use the above commands to copy and paste their work into the interactive forms.

There are two reasons why it is better for students to copy and paste their work from a word processor:

A.  Student work can then be spell checked.
B.  Student work can be saved to disk.

2. When filling out an interactive form make sure you use your whole email address:

    Example:  nolson@bcconline.com

And always double-check to make sure it is correct!
