Open Computer Lab

Open Computer Lab Rules:

Cell phones, pagers, PDA's, and radios must have their ringers and volume muted and may not be used for conversations in the computer labs.  Students must sign in.  Open Computer Lab at the Barstow Campus is now held in the Computer Commons in the new Learning Resource Center.  Open Computer Lab at the Ft. Irwin Campus is held in the Computer Lab, room C-1, in Bldg. 285.

Proctoring Services

Proctoring Rules:

Cell phones, pagers, PDA's, book bags, back packs, and purses are not allowed in the testing area.  Tests at the Barstow and Ft. Irwin campuses are given on a walk-in basis (no appointment are necessary) and students must present their valid photo I.D.  Tests at the Miramar campus are by appointment and students must call ahead to make arrangements.  Tests at the Barstow Campus are proctored during Open Computer Lab which is now held in the Computer Commons in the new Learning Resource Center.  Tests at the Ft. Irwin Campus are proctored during Open Computer Lab which is held in the Computer Lab, room C-1, in Bldg. 285.Students taking proctored exams are encouraged to call in advance to verify the lab’s testing schedule and hours of operation.

A student must be in the office prior to the end time to start an exam. We will not start anyone on an exam after the end time listed. Times listed are start times.
