Creating a link in the discussion group

Go to the page you want to link on the Internet -- for this exercise we will go to http://www.bcconline.com.

Look for the long white rectangle located in the top portion of the program. This dialog box is called the address bar in Internet Explorer and the location bar in Netscape.  The graphics below show the address bar and the location bar respectively:

Click once on the website address or location to highlight it.

Place your mouse over the blue highlighted area and then click your RIGHT mouse button once.  The following menu will appear:

Go to the discussion group. Right click inside the add a message box, and choose the paste command.

Note: If you are creating a new conversation you will need to enter a subject before posting! If you are adding to an existing conversation you are not given the option to add a subject link..

Click preview/post message

Click the post this message button and you are done!
