WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS
Each of the three major writing assignments will be described in more detail. These details you will find by clicking on the individual assignment identified on the home page. So when a written assignment is coming up, be sure to visit the page which provides further information.
Some general guidelines for these written assignments follow: the lengths will vary; for example, essay 1, the definition of myth, may be quite short, but at least one/half page; essays 2 and 3 should be between three and five pages.
Type, process, cut and paste these writing assignments and submit them on the due date. Late work will not count toward your grade. Use spelling checks and grammar programs when you have them. It is fine to have a friend or tutor review your work; you may incorporate valid suggestions into your papers.
Each of the three summaries has been designed to help you keep up with your reading and to develop better study skills. Outlining the readings will increase your memory of these assignments immensely. Just as was true for the essays, I have posted further advice or instructions for each of the summary assignments. So when it is time to work on one, consult the additional information on the linked site.
